• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• 1+ years of production software development or equivalent experience
• Strong computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithm design and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming language such as Java, C++, Ruby, or equivalent, and ability to quickly learn new programming languages and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to provide component level design and software solutions.

The Content Creation Tools team supports a vast variety of marketing businesses at Amazon, across multiple marketplaces and categories. Our work has a direct and significant impact on the user experience of Amazon customers around the globe, in addition to internal operations. We are part of the LEO | Lifecycle Engagement Organization who owns a portfolio of customer-facing features and internal tools that are used to elevate the Amazon experience at scale.

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operations.
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Familiarity with JSON and RESTful APIs.
• Experience using AWS.
• Experience developing software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability.
